DNO - The Government of India has approved more than 120 million rupees in additional funding for the construction of the My Son Sanctuary World Cultural Heritage Information Centre.

The project is expected to begin in 2027, marking a new milestone in cooperation for heritage preservation between Vietnam and India. The announcement was made by the Management Board of My Son Sanctuary on May 7, 2026.
According to the board, the Government of India agreed to add the information centre to the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Tower Groups E and F, allocating more than 120 million rupees under the 2025–2029 project framework.
Planned for construction in 2027 on a hill opposite the My Son exhibition house, the centre will showcase Vietnam - India cooperation in preserving and restoring tower groups A, K, H, E and F, along with artefacts collected during conservation projects from 2017 to 2029.
The project is expected to support sustainable heritage preservation while symbolising the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and India.
