Many scenic spots in Da Nang to be featured in movie "Nha Minh Thoi Di”

The film will be shot in numerous famous locations in the city, including Nam O Fishing Village, Ghenh Bang Beach, Hoa Bac Village, and Hoi An Ancient Town.

The movie is directed by Tran Dinh Hien, a Da Nang native currently living in Ho Chi Minh City.

“Choosing Da Nang as the filming location is not only because of my love for my hometown but also by the fact that it’s like a massive natural film studio.

The central city is home to romantic rivers, stunning beaches, luxury resorts, traditional craft villages, and ancient towns that still preserve their cultural soul.

Through this film, I hope to introduce the beauty of nature and people of Da Nang to domestic and foreign audiences” Director Tran Dinh Hien shared.

The film "Nha Minh Thoi Di” brings together a cast of veteran actors such as People's Artists Hong Van and Kim Xuan, and Artist Hoang Son, plus popular young actors Uyen An, Doan The Vinh and Michelle Lai.

Accompanying director Tran Dinh Hien in the film project is Producer Luong Trung Tin who took on the role of executive producer for the blockbuster “Detective Kien: The Headless Case” which grossed over VND 250 billion at the box office.

Scheduled to be released in 2026, the film tells the story of a multi-generational family on a trip to Da Nang. It wants to send a simple but haunting message “In an age where it is easier to text a stranger than talk to a loved one. This is not just a film, but a reminder: Let's go home, with your whole heart”.
