(QNO) - On May 11, the IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang 2025 concluded.
At 5:30 a.m. on May 11, more than 3,500 athletes from 71 countries and territories set off from My Khe Beach to begin IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang 2025.
After more than four hours of nonstop competition, Thai athlete Kenshin Mizushima was the first to cross the finish line in the men’s age group category, recording an impressive time of 4 hours, 4 minutes, and 17 seconds.
In the women’s age group, the title went to Irish athlete Michelle Nagle, who completed the course in 4 hours, 42 minutes, and 22 seconds.
Notably, in this category, two athletes from host country Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong and Nguyen Thi Tra My, delivered impressive performances, finishing second (4 hours, 44 minutes, and 53 seconds) and third (4 hours, 47 minutes, and 2 seconds), respectively.
At the end of the competition, the organizers honored the top perform athletes and awarded 30 outstanding competitors with qualification slots for the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Spain.
