DNO - The signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the Vietnam Digital Trading Platform JSC (VDTP) and international partners in the fields of technology, finance, and investment took place in Da Nang on Wednesday.
In particular, VDTP and US-based DeepGreenX Group signed an MoU on joint research and investment in the Quantum Bay project and a regional financial center in line with the Vietnamese Government’s digital economy development orientation.
VDTP also signed an MoU with the AISC Vietnam JSC to jointly research, propose and implement digital transformation and digital trade solutions, apply quantum technology (Quantum Bay), and develop a plan for a global digital currency in compliance with Vietnamese law and international standards.
The cooperation activities will include supporting Da Nang in building, piloting, and operating strategic projects in fintech, data, and artificial intelligence.
The signing of the two MoUs marked a significant step in attracting international capital into high-tech projects, and developing digital infrastructure, AI, and quantum technology in Da Nang. At the same time, it helped affirm VDTP’s role as a bridge between the global technology ecosystem and the Vietnamese market.
According to the signing parties, this is a milestone in expanding international cooperation, expected to help Da Nang become a regional hub for innovation and finance.
Chairman and CEO of VDTP Nguyen Hong Hue noted the agreements opened up opportunities to bring advanced technologies into Vietnam, while reaffirming Da Nang’s position as a regional center of finance and innovation.
