DNO - The Huong Tra - Da Nang Sua (Rosewood) Flower Festival 2026 will take place at the Huong Tra Ecological Village from April 24 to 26.
More than just a flower-viewing event, the festival will open up a vibrant experiential space where the beauty of nature, culture, and community life blend harmoniously.
Conveying the spirit of “Return to Origin” in Da Nang’s 2026 tourism vision, this year’s festival will feature a series of activities related to environmental protection and regeneration.
There will be over 20 distinctive activities, with the opening ceremony set on the morning of April 24 at the Vuon Cua area.
On the opening day, Huong Tra Ward will organize a fish release ceremony to replenish aquatic resources in the Tam Ky River, along with tree planting to reinforce the Con Chua area, contributing to ecological balance in this river confluence region.
On the occasion, at the Vuon Cua area, the Center for Life and Learning for Environment and Community, a non-profit organization, will inaugurate a bird-listening station. It will be a new rendezvous spot for nature and bird lovers in Huong Tra.
Another much-anticipated highlight will be the introduction of hot air balloon experiences. For the first time, visitors can admire the beauty of Huong Tra Village from above.
From this point, endless stretches of yellow blossoms unfold below, interwoven with clusters of houses and lush gardens, while in the distance, the gentle Tam Ky River winds its way through the landscape.
Community activities will also play a key role in shaping the festival’s vitality. Joining the “Discover Huong Tra” run at sunrise, cycling along flower-lined paths on tandem bicycles, or unwinding at the “Sua Corner Reading” space will offer young visitors opportunities to relax, recharge, and capture memorable moments in this land.
Elsewhere, modern experiential activities such as 360-degree photobooths, check-ins with mascots and robots, and the “Huong Tra Scenery” photo contest, hope to create strong connections with younger audiences.
These contemporary elements are thoughtfully integrated, complementing rather than overshadowing the village’s ecological and cultural identity.
Alongside these new features, cultural and artistic activities will continue to serve as the foundation, enriching the overall visitor experience.
From incense-offering rituals at the communal house, art performances and ‘Ao Dai’ showcases, to traditional ‘bai choi’ singing, all will significantly contribute to a richly local atmosphere.
These activities will not only recreate traditional cultural life but also offer deeper insights into the historical depth of the region.
