The food festival is hosted by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People’s Committee of Quang Phu Ward, the Da Nang Culinary Culture Association, and some relevant units.

It will feature a combination of coastal cultural experiences, local cuisine and a variety of performances and entertainment activities for visitors.

According to the plan, the festival will be organized at Tam Thanh Beach Square as a highlight to promote the image of the coastal area associated with the lives of fishermen and local seafood resources, as well as to add new experiential tourism products to the southern coastal area of the city.

The festival space will be designed to recreate the atmosphere of a fishing village, featuring familiar elements such as basket boats, fishing nets and displays of fresh seafood. This will allow visitors to gain closer insight into coastal life and culture.

A key highlight of the event will be the culinary zone, bringing together numerous local seafood vendors serving dishes prepared from the day’s fresh catch.

Grilled, steamed and boiled specialties will be cooked in a rustic style, preserving their authentic flavors while creating a direct connection between cooks and diners.

In addition, there will be more than 50 booths showcasing OCOP products, local specialties and souvenirs, notably dried seafood, traditional fish sauce and handicrafts made from seashells. This activity aims to expand market opportunities for local products and create additional stops for visitors during their journey.

The festival will also feature experiential activities, folk games, a beer-tasting area and night-time art performances, creating a vibrant community space and contributing to extending visitors’ length of stay in the Tam Thanh beach area.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Chairman of the Quang Phu Ward People's Committee, the festival is expected to better showcase the image of the Tam Thanh beach area closely tied to fishermen’s lives and distinctive culinary values.

The event also will provide an opportunity for production and business establishments to promote their products and connect with markets, he added.

In the coming time, the ward authorities will continue coordinating similar activities to gradually develop stable tourism products aligned with local strengths.
