(QNO) - Hoi An ancient town has been named among the 15 must-visit destinations in Southeast Asia by Gulf News, a leading English daily in the UAE.
Hoi An ancient town, a riverside town recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage, is a popular destination for international visitors. The town is illuminated with vibrant lanterns every evening.
Hoi An is also known for its quick and quality tailoring services. The street food scene is diverse, and the architecture is a harmonious blend of Asian and French influences, well-preserved over time.
Besides, Vietnam contributes two more destinations: Ha Long Bay and Sapa.
Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is praised for its surreal limestone cliffs and emerald waters, perfect for cruising and kayaking.
Sa Pa is famous for its terraced rice fields, cool mountain air, rich ethnic culture, and trekking routes with panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son range.
The full list of 15 destinations includes Bangkok, Singapore, Bali, Palawan, George Town, Siem Reap, Chiang Mai, Cebu, Luang Prabang, Bandar Seri Begawan, Bicol, Bagan, and the three Vietnamese spots.
