FPT Polytechnic Da Nang building inaugurated

The new facility is designed to provide a modern learning environment, with a strong emphasis on hands-on training and closer alignment between vocational education and the practical needs of businesses. Construction began on January 16, 2025.

The building covers more than 14,000 square meters, with 13 above-ground floors and one basement. It houses a range of training and practice facilities for FPT Polytechnic’s key fields of study.

The practical workshop is equipped with industrial-standard machinery, equipment and technologies, giving students greater exposure to real-world working environments.

The Information Technology workshop features high-performance computers and dedicated network infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the Control Engineering and Automation workshop is equipped with smart control systems and automation models, allowing students to work with technologies like those used in industrial production. The Graphic Design workshop combines specialized design equipment with a studio-style creative space.

The Economics workshop is designed to resemble a corporate office, enabling students to develop professional skills and apply business knowledge in a setting that reflects the workplace.

The new building reflects FPT Polytechnic’s emphasis on practice-based education. By bringing specialized equipment and workplace-oriented learning spaces into the campus, the college aims to give students more opportunities to develop technical skills alongside professional capabilities.

FPT Polytechnic College began training and awarding qualifications under a decision issued by the General Department of Vocational Training on July 1, 2010. The institution has since focused on providing learners with high-quality vocational skills and practical knowledge.

The Da Nang facility is expected to strengthen FPT Polytechnic’s training capacity in Central Vietnam while supporting its broader approach to vocational education, in which classroom learning is closely connected with practice and industry requirements.

The investment also comes as demand for skilled workers continues to reshape vocational education. For students, access to industry-oriented facilities can provide a more direct pathway from training to professional practice.

With its expanded training infrastructure, FPT Polytechnic Da Nang is positioned to provide a learning environment where students can gain experience with technologies, workflows and working conditions that increasingly reflect the demands of modern businesses.
