Da Nang College seeks cooperation with Japanese university and enterprise

DNO - The Da Nang College recently held a discussion session with a delegation from Japan's Sapporo International University and Dekita Co., Ltd. to discuss cooperation in training and the development of high-quality human resources.

The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. Tomoyuki Tamura, Chairman of the Board of Sapporo International University, representatives from the Center for International Cooperation, and the Executive Director of Ashirutekku Co., Ltd.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Acting Rector of the Da Nang College, alongside its leadership team and heads of its various departments, faculties, and centers, received the delegation.

At the working session, Mr. Tomoyuki Tamura presented solutions to enhance the quality of training in alignment with the practical demands of the international labor market.

The cooperation, therefore, focused on expanding internship, employment, and studying opportunities in Hokkaido Prefecture (Japan) for the Da Nang College's students while implementing short-term student exchange programs and bilateral cooperation in research and training.

Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Acting Rector of the Da Nang College, confirmed that strengthening cooperation with prestigious educational institutions and enterprises from Japan is a strategic program of the college.

This aims to enhance the quality of vocational education while equipping the college's students with the necessary professional skills, foreign language proficiency, and international-standard working style.

The working session opens up opportunities for the college's students in learning, doing internships, and working in Japan's Hokkaido while helping expand the college's international cooperation in the field of vocational education.

Such cooperative programs play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of training and helping the college's students obtain their professional skills, foreign language, and international-standard working style while still pursuing their studies.

Also, training and supplying a highly skilled workforce proficient in the Japanese language and culture enhances Da Nang's competitiveness in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) from Japan.
