DNO - Da Nang has officially approved a fixed-route passenger transport service connecting Da Nang and Attapeu, marking a new step in enhancing cross-border transport connectivity between Vietnam and Laos.

The Da Nang Department of Construction has recently approved the operation of a fixed-route passenger transport service between Vietnam and Laos by the Phuong Vy One-Member Transport Co., Ltd.
The approval was granted based on the company’s application to operate a fixed-route passenger service between Vietnam and Laos.
Specifically, the route will connect Da Nang (Vietnam) and Attapeu (Laos) in both directions.
The departure terminal will be the Tam Ky Bus Station in Da Nang, whilst the arrival terminal will be the Attapeu Bus Station (Attapeu Province, Laos)
The route is Tam Ky Bus Station - National Highway 1A - National Highway 14E - Ho Chi Minh Trail - Bo Y International Border Gate (Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam)/Phoukeua International Border Gate (Attapeu Province, Laos) - Saysetha District Center - Road 18B - Attapeu Bus Station, and vice versa.
The designated border gates are Bo Y / Phoukeua.
A total of four vehicles have been authorized to operate on the route: 92G-000.82, 43H-273.93, 75H-015.12, and 43H-302.70.
According to the Department of Construction, within 60 days Phuong Vy One-Member Transport Co., Ltd. must put the vehicles into operation and sign operating contracts with the bus stations at both ends of the route.
