DNO - The East - West Economic Corridor International Trade, Tourism, and Investment Fair (EWEC - Da Nang) 2026 officially opened at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center on Wednesday.

The EWEC - Da Nang 2026 Fair is part of the 2026 National Trade Promotion Program approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
Held annually, the event aims to promote the socio-economic potential, investment, trade and tourism of localities to organizations, businesses and investors along the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC).

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Phan Thai Binh noted that the fair originated from the East-West Economic Corridor Week in 2007 and has been held annually since 2012.
Over the past 15 editions, the EWEC Fair has continuously expanded its scale and improved its quality, gradually affirming itself as one of prominent international trade promotion events in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
This year’s fair features nearly 250 booths operated by 108 domestic and foreign businesses, with continued active participation from south-central provinces of Laos.
The event also includes displays of products by nine diplomatic missions in Vietnam and Da Nang.

According to Vice Chairman Phan Thai Binh, as the eastern gateway of the East-West Economic Corridor, Da Nang holds a strategic position connecting Mekong sub-region countries with the East Sea and international maritime routes.
The city is gradually asserting its role as a hub for trade, services, logistics and innovation in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
Mr. Binh expected that the fair will facilitate more partnerships, contracts and investment commitments between domestic and international corporations and businesses.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Tai, Deputy Director of the MoIT’s Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, underlined that EWEC - Da Nang Fair should continue to be elevated into a forum for business connectivity, as well as to promote the formation of supply chains, and expand investment, trade and tourism cooperation among localities and businesses along the East-West Economic Corridor.
This would further enhance Da Nang’s role as an international trade gateway for the region.
In addition to exhibition areas showcasing OCOP, speciality and rural industrial products, and tourism services, this year’s fair features a series of specialized events.
Included are a discussion titled “Cross-border Connectivity and Trade Facilitation - A Driving Force for the Development of the Indo-Pacific Economic Corridor”; the “Da Nang International Logistics Forum 2026”; and a seminar on “Da Nang - The Central Region’s Online Export Centre”, along with various business-matching activities on the sidelines.
The fair is free to enter and open to visitors from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm daily from August 12 - 17.
