For DIFF 2026, Vietnam’s Z121 Vina Pyrotech is once again placing storytelling at the center of its performance. Through carefully selected music celebrating unity, peace and national pride, the team aims to deliver a show that resonates with audiences both in Vietnam and abroad.
Months of preparation, extensive technical planning and nearly three decades of experience in fireworks production have gone into crafting the display.
Spectators can expect a dynamic performance featuring innovative aerial formations, synchronized effects, color-changing smoke and visually striking patterns designed to illuminate the night sky above the Han River.
By combining advanced technology with meaningful artistic expression, Z121 hopes not only to impress judges but also to create an unforgettable experience that reflects the spirit, resilience and aspirations of Vietnam.
This year, Z121 has further enhanced its preparations by investing in advanced equipment and 3D fireworks simulation technology, allowing the team to test and refine every visual effect in a virtual environment before the live performance.
The approach helps ensure maximum precision and artistic impact on competition night.
Inspired by the theme “Heritage,” the Vietnamese team plans to illuminate the skies above the Han River with images celebrating the nation’s culture, history and people.
One of the highlights will be the depiction of the palm tree, a symbol closely associated with Phu Tho Province, where Z121 is based and which is known as the ancestral land of Vietnam’s Hung Kings.
Representing resilience, endurance and vitality, the image reflects the spirit of generations of Vietnamese people.
Through its performance, Z121 hopes to present international audiences with a portrait of a vibrant and culturally rich Vietnam - a nation proud of its heritage, confident in its identity and actively embracing global integration while looking toward the future.

While making its debut at DIFF 2026, France’s Lux Factory POK 2.0 arrives in Da Nang with an impressive international reputation.
The team recently captured the prestigious Gold Jupiter Award at the 2025 Montreal International Fireworks Competition in Canada, one of the world’s most renowned pyrotechnic events.
For its first appearance at the festival, the French team has chosen a performance titled “Heritage - Da Nang Shines,” a tribute to the beauty, dynamism and transformation of Vietnam’s coastal city.
Inspired by Vietnam’s cultural traditions and Da Nang’s remarkable journey of development, the show aims to celebrate the energy, resilience and aspirations that have helped the city earn its reputation as one of the country’s most livable destinations.
According to team leader Arnaud Fouriau, the performance will combine the company’s signature strengths: sophisticated digital fireworks programming, breathtaking multi-dimensional visual effects and seamless synchronization with music.
