DNO - Da Nang is welcoming a surge in visitors during Vietnam’s four-day National Day (September 2) holiday, with many of the city’s leading tourist sites unveiling special programmes and promotions to entertain travellers.
At the Sun World Ba Na Hills, discounted tickets are being offered from August 30 to September 30 (VND 550,000 for adults and VND 350,000 for children).
Between August 30 and September 2, guests wearing Vietnam’s signature red-flag shirts will receive priority entry.
The resort is also hosting the mini concert ‘National Pride’ from August 20 to September 10, alongside patriotic decorations and street performances.
The Mikazuki 365 Water Park has launched a 30% weekday discount for Da Nang residents until September 4.
The Da Nang Downtown stages a vibrant lineup: Sunny Showcase on August 30, Random Dance from August 31 to September 1, and the mini concert ‘Vietnam’s Beauty’ on September 2.
Cultural attractions are also joining the festive atmosphere. The Museum of Paracels Islands is offering a maritime-themed photo zone, an exhibition and a bracelet-making workshop from August 18 to September 15.
At Toom Sara Village, from August 30 to September 2, visitors can enjoy the Co Tu Show, the riverside musical show. Hands-on activities such as learning to cook Co Tu dishes, tree-planting, and treasure-hunting games promise unique experiences for families and young travellers.
In Hoi An, now part of Da Nang’s tourism network, highlights include the street art show ‘Hoi An – Greeting the New Day’ on September 2, the music programme ‘Melodies of Time’ on September 1, and the Ancestors’ Commemoration Festival at Thanh Ha Pottery Village on August 31 and September 1.
At the Than Tai Hot Springs Park, activities range from traditional prayer ceremonies to a zodiac-themed parade and lucky draws.
