DNO - Da Nang will host the “South Korean Tourist Appreciation Week 2025” from August 1-8 as a special thank-you to South Korean partners and tourists who have accompanied the city's tourism development.
The event is part of a series of activities in response to the tourism stimulus campaign themed “Vietnam - Go to Love” launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as the effective implementation of Plan No. 33/KH-SDL dated February 7, 2025 on attracting international visitors.
It will offer the good opportunity to promote the image of new Da Nang with a modern, dynamic and appealing tourism ecosystem.
The “South Korean Tourist Appreciation Week 2025” will feature an array of meaningful activities, including a ceremony to welcome the one millionth South Korean visitor to Da Nang in 2025, a Famtrip program to express gratitude to South Korean travel agencies, welcoming famous South Korean KOLs to experience and explore the city's new tourism products, and the South Korea - Da Nang Friendship Golf Tournament 2025.
Additionally, the city will launch the tourism stimulus program titled "I love Da Nang" with many incentives exclusively for South Korean tourists.
South Korea is currently one of the city’s key international tourist markets. In the first half of the year, the number of South Korean visitors staying in Da Nang reached 2.27 million, up 147% over the same period last year.
Through a series of special activities during the week, Da Nang hopes to continue to affirm its position as a favourite destination among South Korean tourists, as well as strengthen tourism cooperation between Da Nang and South Korean partners.
