A series of large-scale events titled "Peaceful Homeland" will take place in Da Nang from April 29 to May 2.

The series of large-scale events not only pays tribute to the silent contributions and sacrifices of generations of public security officers and soldiers, but also offers residents and visitors immersive experiences of the nation’s heroic history, combined with some of the most modern and spectacular multi-platform artistic and action performances.

The opening event will be a three-region folk art exchange program to be held on the evening of April 29 at the APEC Exhibition Center.

The program will showcase distinctive traditional art forms from across the country, including gong performances and ‘hat van’ to ‘bai choi’ and ‘don ca tai tu’, creating a vibrant cultural space rich in national identity.

The highlight of the entire series of events will be a gala night to be held at 8:00 pm on May 2 at the eastern bank of the Dragon Bridge. It will be broadcast live nationwide.

The 75-minute program will be divided into three parts: "The Flow of Peace", "The Shield of Peace" and "The Epic of Peace".

The performance space will feature a multi-layered design, integrating the central stage, the bridge surface and the Han River into a unified artistic composition.

A range of innovative formats will be employed, including multi-tier parades, river performances using speedboats, artistic fireworks and light mapping, promising a vivid and large-scale visual spectacle.

Alongside the main gala, a series of exhibitions, displays and interactive experiences will take place from April 30 to May 3 at the APEC Sculpture Park and along the Bach Dang Walking Street.

The indoor exhibition area will feature eight themed sections, retracing milestones from the dismantling of subversive plots in the case at No. 7 On Nhu Hau Street on July 12, 1946, through major historical operations such as CM12, C30 and BK63, to contemporary efforts in cybersecurity and non-traditional security in the digital era.

Virtual reality technology, information kiosks and displays of modern equipment will be integrated to allow the public to engage with history in a visual and vivid way.

An interactive investigative game themed around the case at No. 7 On Nhu Hau Street will recreate the context of Ha Noi in 1946 through three experiential zones: Historical Background, Conspiracy and Investigation.

Additional stations such as the Cybersecurity Wall and For World Peace will equip visitors with skills to detect scams, identify AI-generated fake content, explore the KH CM12 digital museum and learn about international peacekeeping efforts.

With its large scale, well-invested content, and the participation of many reputable artists and experts, the "Peaceful Homeland" series of events is expected to become a typical cultural and media product, thereby contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the people and promoting the image of Vietnam internationally.
