DNO - The Vietnam Ophthalmological Society Conference 2026 is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 15 at the Ariyana International Convention Centre in Da Nang, according to the Vietnam Ophthalmological Society (VOS).
A highlight of this year's conference will be the collaboration between the VOS and the Indochina Ocular Inflammation Study Group.
The conference is expected to bring together nearly 3,000 attendees, including professors, physicians, and medical experts from both Vietnam and abroad. It stands as the most significant annual professional event for Vietnam's ophthalmological sector.
The conference will include a plenary session, 19 specialized symposia, and over 200 scientific presentations covering a wide range of topics, such as phacoemulsification surgery, glaucoma, vitreoretinal diseases, pediatric ophthalmology, refractive surgery, oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery, ocular trauma, and neuro-ophthalmology.
The conference will serve as a platform for experts to update on advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, share clinical practice experiences, facilitate the transfer of medical techniques, and foster international cooperation. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of ophthalmic care and improve vision health for the public.
