DNO - The “Da Nang - Copenhagen: A Green Journey Along the Han River” program is set to take place from June 20 - 22 at the APEC Sculpture Park.

As part of a series of activities marking the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Denmark, the program aims to promote sustainable development cooperation and enhance exchanges and dialogue on green urban development.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 am on June 20 at the APEC Sculpture Park, with the participation of leaders of Da Nang, the Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, and representatives of agencies, organizations and businesses, along with a large number of residents, young people and students.
A highlight of the event is the cycling activity “A Green Journey Along the Han River” which will take place from 8:30 am to 9:15 am on June 20.
The route will be APEC Sculpture Park - September 2 Street - Bach Dang Street - Han River Bridge - Tran Hung Dao Street - Dragon Bridge - APEC Park.
In addition, an exhibition themed “Livable City - Cycling City” will be held from June 20 - 22 at the APEC Sculpture Park.
It will showcase images of Copenhagen (Denmark) with its green, sustainable urban development orientation, alongside typical images reflecting the rhythm of life and development of Da Nang.
The People's Committee of Da Nang has assigned relevant agencies and units to coordinate in organizing the event to ensure security and order, traffic safety, healthcare services, and communications.
