DNO - In the context of market fluctuations, trade promotion plays a vital role in helping businesses expand their consumption markets.

In recent times, the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing a series of activities to support local businesses in promoting their products and seeking new market opportunities.
The most prominent has been the organization of large-scale fairs and exhibitions such as the Da Nang Spring Fair 2025, the Vietnamese Goods Fair - Honoring OCOP Products in 2025, and the East - West Economic Corridor International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair 2025.
These events have attracted hundreds of booths introducing a wide range of consumer goods, OCOP products and local specialties, thereby contributing to stimulating consumer demand and creating practical platforms for business networking.
In addition, the Mega Sale Summer Da Nang 2025 has created a lively shopping atmosphere, strengthened engagement between businesses and consumers, and helped promote genuine products to tourists.
Since the beginning of the year, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade has organized 7 delegations with 54 businesses participating in trade promotion activities abroad, opening up opportunities to introduce Da Nang products to international markets.
The department has also shifted strongly toward a hybrid approach that integrates in-person and online activities while promoting e-commerce and digital transformation.
The unit has just launched the Da Nang Digital Trade and Regional Connectivity Week highlighted by a Cashless Payment Fair with more than 80 OCOP booths and a technology experience space for digital platforms, payment solutions, logistics and e-commerce.
The department has been developing a TikTok channel and a series of promotional videos for OCOP products, as well as publishing a bilingual Vietnamese - English publication to increase communication effectiveness and expand access to international markets.
Assessing recent results, the Department of Industry and Trade commented that trade promotion activities in recent times have created a "boost" for local businesses, helping strengthen brand visibility, expand distribution channels, and maintain stable demand amid market fluctuations.
Many businesses have made use of these opportunities, including the My Phuong Food Co., Ltd. which has signed contracts with partners from Taiwan (China), the US, and China at the FOODEX 2025 Fair. The company is currently negotiating with partners from Canada, France, and Poland.
Meanwhile, the STCO Company has approached more than 150 potential customers, of which about 15% are negotiating cooperation.
All aforementioned results clearly show the practical effectiveness of the city’s trade promotion programs.
