Secretary Le Ngoc Quang extended his best wishes to the Attapeu delegation and emphasized that Da Nang always values and prioritizes cooperation with the southern and central provinces of Laos.
He expressed his delight at the increasingly effective cooperation between the two localities. He also noted that the close ties between Da Nang and Attapeu is a vivid testament to the special friendship, solidarity, and loyalty between the two Parties, two States, and the people of Vietnam and Laos.

Sharing Da Nang’s development orientation, the city Party chief proposed that the two sides further expand comprehensive cooperation across socio-economic development, national defense and security, exchange of delegations, and the learning of Vietnamese and Lao languages.
He noted that Da Nang has decided to raise scholarship support from 50% to 100% for all students from the south central provinces of Laos studying in the city, starting from the 2025 - 2026 academic year.
He stressed that Da Nang consistently remains attentive, supportive, and proactive in fostering cooperation with Lao localities, including Attapeu Province.

For his part, Secretary of the Attapeu Provincial Party Committee Bounthong Douangsavan conveyed Lunar New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government, and people of Da Nang.
He also congratulated Viet Nam on the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and expressed sympathy for the difficulties and losses suffered by Da Nang residents due to natural disasters at the end of 2025.
He also voiced his hope to continue receiving cooperation from Da Nang, especially in investment attraction, infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and energy. He also called on Da Nang enterprises to visit Attapeu to explore potential investment opportunities.
He also suggested both sides strengthen people-to-people exchanges, expand cooperation in trade and services, and effectively implement signed memoranda of understanding, contributing to the successful realization of cooperation goals agreed upon by the high-level leaders of the two Parties and States.
