2026 development agenda
Da Nang has placed investment attraction at the heart of its 2026 development agenda, focuseing on maximising the effectiveness of the two-tier local government model and special policy mechanisms, while accelerating investment inflows to support economic expansion and social security.
In detail, Da Nang will focus on developing its high-tech park and innovation centres, proposing targeted incentives to attract high-tech foreign investment and research and development activities. Infrastructure development remains central, with emphasis on regional transport connectivity, logistics facilities and port infrastructure.
Administrative reform and digital transformation are also expected to play a critical role in supporting investors and ensuring the timely implementation of large-scale projects.
Included are Lang Van Village, Danang Downtown, the comprehensive investment and construction of the Lien Chieu Container Port, the Ba Na-Suoi Mo Ecotourism Area, and phase 2 of the Nam Hoi An Integrated Resort.
The city officials note that recent national policy adjustments have created a more open and flexible legal framework for Da Nang, helping remove long-standing bottlenecks related to land and stalled projects.
These changes are expected to unlock significant investment resources, strengthening the city’s position as a competitive destination for strategic, high-quality and environmentally sustainable projects in Central Vietnam.
