The steady surge in investment capital highlights Da Nang’s growing appeal, fueled by faster administrative processes, improved infrastructure, and decisive government support for investors.
According to the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority (DSEZA), investment capital reached VND6.4 trillion in 2023, increased to VND7.9 trillion in 2024 (up 23%), and is projected to hit VND10 trillion in 2025, rising 27% year-on-year.
Overall, total new capital grew 56% in just three years, a remarkable figure amid global economic uncertainty.
The growth is being driven not only by more projects but by higher-quality investments.
Large corporations increasingly see Da Nang as a long-term destination thanks to transparency, stability, and authorities’ strong commitments.
The share of high-tech and clean-industry projects has expanded significantly.
New industrial zones and strategic projects, including the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park and the Da Nang Free Trade Zones (FTZs), are creating momentum for the next development cycle.
At the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, investment activity is surging as companies build factories and expand production.

A key highlight is Danapha’s pharmaceutical plant and high-tech R&D center, a VND1,500-billion project scheduled to begin operations in 2026.
Foreign investors echo this positive sentiment. South Korea’s Dentium Group reported completing administrative procedures in under six months, enabling rapid expansion of three manufacturing facilities worth US$257 million.
Japanese investors also praise Da Nang’s transparent procedures, skilled workforce, and high quality of lifefactors that help attract long-term experts.
In the time ahead, Da Nang is expanding growth space through new industrial parks, FTZ development, and comprehensive digital and administrative reforms.
With modern infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and a clear focus on high-tech, clean industry and high value-added sectors, the city is positioning itself for a strong growth cycle from 2025 to 2030.
