The rise of digital platforms has opened up many new opportunities for tourism promotion. Instead of relying solely on traditional media campaigns, many young people are increasingly turning social media to share their journeys exploring famous landmarks, popular check-in spots, or distinctive cultural and culinary experiences in Da Nang.

Among the notable content creators are Le Quang Huy and Do Ngoc Thai. Through short videos, vivid images, and articles sharing personal feelings, they introduce the coastal city in a relatable and dynamic way. Such content often captures the attention of online community, especially young people, contributing to helping Da Nang reach a broader pool of potential visitors.

Le Quang Huy, 32, a resident of Thanh Khe Ward, currently manages several social media pages such as "Da Nang Oi", "Review Da Nang", and "Ghien Da Nang" on Facebook and TikTok, attracting a large following.

His idea of building review pages dates back to his student years after moving from Hue to Da Nang. With his desire to discover delicious, affordable eateries suitable for students, and lesser-known travel spots, Huy began sharing his personal experiences on social media.

From simple diary-like posts, Huy gradually developed his platforms into well-followed review channels focusing on dining spots, tourist attractions and check-in locations across the city. His content is built on authenticity, concise presentation and frequent updates, quickly gaining attention from both locals and tourists.

Together with his team, he continuously keeps up with emerging trends to introduce new eateries, destinations and experiences in Da Nang. While content creation provides a source of income, Huy emphasizes verifying information before posting to ensure accuracy and contribute to a positive online environment.

Meanwhile, Do Ngoc Thai (born in 2001, Hai Chau Ward), the creator of the TikTok channel “Thai Kun An Ngon”, has attracted over 55,000 followers with his approachable review style based on real-life experiences.

According to Thai, in a crowded field of review channels, authenticity and natural storytelling are what help him connect with viewers. His content is presented in a simple, conversational style with minimal scripting, allowing audiences to feel as though they are accompanying him on each culinary and travel journey.

In the near future, beyond food and travel reviews, he plans to develop more story-driven content that explores local culture and people at each destination. Through this, his channel aims not only to entertain but also to promote local cuisine, traditional culture and distinctive craft villages.

Through digital review platforms, young creators like Quang Huy and Ngoc Thai are helping promote Da Nang in a creative and relatable way, providing tourists with more information to explore the city.
