DNO - According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, the city’s import and export activities have continued to maintain strong growth since the beginning of the year. This positive sign reflects the recovery of production and trade, and the demand for goods exchange with international markets.

In July 2026, the city’s total import-export turnover was estimated at nearly US$905 million, up 2.6% compared to the previous month and 7.9% year-on-year. Of the total, exports reached an estimate of US$473 million, while imports stood at US$432 million.
Both export and import turnover continued to rise from the previous month, indicating that merchandise trade activities remained stable.
During the first seven months of 2026, the total import-export turnover generated nearly US$5.8 billion, up 12.2% year-on-year. Exports were estimated at US$2.9 billion and imports exceeded US$2.8 billion.
Regarding the trade balance, the city recorded an estimated trade surplus of about US$47.5 million over the seven-month period. The figure was higher than the surplus recorded in the first half of the year (approximately US$6.6 million) but lower than that of the same period last year (US$70.5 million).
These results indicate that exports continued to offset the increase in imports, helping the city maintain a trade surplus despite strong demand for imported raw materials serving production. They also reflect a relatively balanced import-export structure, contributing to stable trade activities and supporting the city's economic growth.
These results demonstrate that exports continue to offset the growth rate of imports, helping to maintain a trade surplus even as the demand for imported production inputs remains high. This reflects a relative balance between exports and imports, fostering stable trade activity and supporting the city's economic growth.
