DNO - Da Nang is reaffirming its reputation as one of Vietnam’s premier destinations for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) tourism, attracting both domestic and international groups in growing numbers.
Da Nang, in early September, welcomed a 171-member delegation from The Fun Club and the Malaysian Bar Council.
The visit was organized by Omegatour, in collaboration with Lintas Travel Services SDN BHD, a Kuala Lumpur-based member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The MICE visitors spent 5 days in Da Nang, combining leisure with professional activities.
Their itinerary included tours of the city’s scenic attractions, stays at high-end resorts and immersive cultural and culinary experiences that showcased the unique appeal of Vietnam’s central coast.
As remarked by Da Nang officials, the visit reflects not only the continued draw of Da Nang as a MICE hub in Vietnam, but also its growing role in fostering international connections, particularly with Malaysian enterprises and organisations.
As reported by the Da Nag Tourism Promotion Center in terms of the sector’s momentum, in the first 8 months of 2025, Da Nang hosted 163 MICE groups with a total of 55,533 visitors. Of these, 28,237 were domestic travellers while 27,296 came from overseas markets.
Thanks to its strategic location, modern infrastructure and a wide array of tourism offerings, from pristine beaches and UNESCO-recognised heritage sites to world-class conference facilities, Da Nang has positioned itself as a top choice for business events and incentive travel.
