The event is jointly organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, Central Group and Central Retail. This is the eighth year the event has been held in Thailand.

At the event, five destinations selected for promotion are Lao Cai (Sa Pa), Ha Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and An Giang (Phu Quoc).

In addition to destination promotion, this year's event attracts over 60 Vietnamese enterprises to showcase products, goods, and tourism services.

Notably, featured items include products with strong export potential and large production capacity.

In particular, regional specialties and Vietnamese OCOP products, such as toasted coconut cake (Da Nang), fish sauce (Phu Quoc), tea (Thai Nguyen), coffee (Buon Ma Thuot), and handicrafts, have attracted a large number of visitors and facilitated connections with potential partners.

According to the organizers, this is the first year Vietnamese OCOP products have been featured in the exhibition area introducing Central Retail’s Viet Gems private-label product line.

Regional specialties certified as OCOP products with ratings of three stars or higher which have strong potential for export to Thailand are being introduced through Central Retail’s Tops supermarket chain in Thailand.

As part of the event, the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with Central Retail Vietnam, is organizing a business matchmaking program to create direct connections between domestic businesses and purchasing teams within Central Group’s retail network.

The program enables domestic producers to gain a clearer understanding of the stringent quality and packaging requirements of modern retail channels, thereby improving their competitiveness and opening up greater opportunities to export to regional markets.
