DNO - Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang, on Tuesday, hosted a reception for Mr. Yan Jiehe, Founder of Pacific Construction Group and Atlantic Construction Group, and Chairman of China’s Zhuangyan Research Institute.

During the reception, Secretary Le Ngoc Quang welcomed the Pacific Construction Group delegation to the city, and expressed his impression of the group’s scale, capacity, and strong development. The group is recognized as one of the leading construction groups in China and the world, having implemented numerous major projects in Vietnam.
He informed about Da Nang's potential and advantages in its new development phase. Following the administrative merger, the city now enjoys expanded development space and strives to become a new growth pole of Vietnam.
In particular, Da Nang possesses many favorable natural conditions and a relatively synchronized infrastructure system, including two seaports and two airports. The Vietnam International Financial Center in the city has also officially come into operation.
The city has been granted various special and breakthrough mechanisms and policies by the central government, particularly in developing the International Financial Center, a Free Trade Zone, high-tech parks, and urban infrastructure, including strategic transport infrastructure.
Currently, Da Nang is focusing on attracting investment to build and complete industrial parks and high-tech zones, expand its seaports and airports, and develop regional connectivity infrastructure.
At the same time, the city aims to become a high-quality tourism and service hub, targeting to welcome approximately 20 million visitors by 2026, of which about one-third are expected to be international tourists.
The city Party chief proposed that the Pacific Construction Group and the Da Nang People’s Committee study and consider signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in areas that the city is calling for investment, as a basis for further discussions and concrete cooperation steps in the near future.

Mr. Yan Jiehe expressed his strong impression of the city’s dynamic growth, strategic vision, and increasingly open investment environment. According to him, the newly expanded Da Nang boasts many favorable conditions aligned with the group’s investment and development orientation.
He affirmed that Pacific Construction Group is firmly committed to reputation and quality in the construction sector, with particular emphasis on post-investment maintenance and upkeep. The group prioritizes construction quality to minimize operational and maintenance costs and is ready to transfer technology free of charge during the cooperation process.
The founder of Pacific Construction Group also noted that if Da Nang is selected as the location for the headquarters of one of the group’s enterprises ranked among the world’s Top 500 companies, the group will actively contribute to the city’s economic growth and sustainable development.
He also expressed strong agreement with the Da Nang Party Secretary’s proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the group and the municipal People’s Committee.
