The initiative underscores the city’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and building a foundation for future technologies.

The project is designed to meet the growing demand for large-scale information systems, big data development, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in digital governance, smart city management and new digital economy models.

Funded by the national government’s budgetm the project will be implemented at the Da Nang Data Center and across relevant city agencies between 2025 and 2027.

Key components of the investment include upgrading and expanding IT infrastructure at the Da Nang Data Center to enhance operational capacity and resilience.

The project will improve core technical systems such as power supply and backup sources, cooling systems, and data center monitoring and management.

In parallel, work will also be on upgrading and expanding its SD-WAN network to ensure stable, high-speed connectivity down to the grassroots level.

This strategic investment marks another step in Da Nang’s vision to become a leading digital hub in Vietnam, fostering innovation and efficiency in public administration and digital economy development.
