Da Nang International Marathon 2026 slated for March 22

Recognized as a reputable international marathon, the event attracts thousands of runners from Vietnam and around the world each year, contributing to promoting Da Nang as a dynamic and welcoming tourism destination.

The starting point will be at the East Sea Park, along the coastal Vo Nguyen Giap Street. From there, runners will pass through some of the city’s most scenic routes, including stretches along the coastline and several bridges spanning the Han River.

This year’s race will feature various distances to suit different groups of runners, including the 42.195km full marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 5km race, and 1.5km Ronny Dash for children.

The marathon distance will start the earliest, at around 3:00 am to ensure favorable weather conditions for participants to complete the race.

Beyond the competition, the event is also considered a sports and tourism festival for the city. Thousands of runners, along with their families and visitors, will take part in side activities such as sports exhibitions, race kit collection, and community running meet-ups. Finishers will receive medals, electronic certificates, and various gifts from sponsors.
