DNO - The Vietnam Blockchain Day 2025 took place in Da Nang on Friday, as part of the city’s Finance and Tech Week 2025.
The event was organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang in partnership with the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy, the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association and the SSI Digital Technology JSC.
The event attracted more than 300 delegates, experts, and speakers involving blockchain and digital assets at both home and abroad.
During the event, seven presentations by experts from Vietnam, Singapore, and the UK focused on analyzing blockchain development trends, tokenization, stablecoins and the digital asset market.
In addition, there were six thematic seminars with major topics about legal framework, open blockchain infrastructure, smart cities, tokenized market, the role of exchanges, and audit standards.
The highlight of the event was the public-private dialogue session themed “Shaping the future of digital assets in Vietnam” which brought together policy-making agencies, professional associations and typical enterprises.
Discussions concentrated on development orientations, plus solutions to perfect the legal framework and build operating standards for the domestic digital asset market.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy Pham Dai Duong said that, in recent times, Da Nang has implemented many mechanisms and policies to support innovative startups, while promoting the construction of an International Financial Center and a Free Trade Zone. This was considered an important foundation to attract investment in the blockchain ecosystem and digital assets, he noted.
Mr. Pham Dai Duong also emphasized that the Vietnam Blockchain Day 2025 provided the good opportunity for experts, developers, businesses and investors to promote blockchain applications in key economic sectors and call on investment in innovative startup projects.
Within the framework of the event, the People's Committee of Da Nang signed Memorandums of Understanding with the Digital Treasures Centers Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), the Verichains Company Limited, the Bybit Fintech Company Limited, and the Abu Dhabi Blockchain Company (the UAE) to promote research, application and development of blockchain in Da Nang and Vietnam.
