DNO - Following the success of its first edition in 2025, the Da Nang Business, Finance and Technology Week 2026 is set to return on a larger scale with expanded content and broader international participation.
The event aims to connect policymakers, experts, and global investors, as well as position Da Nang as an innovative, livable city and a growth hub for the country.

The Da Nang Business, Finance and Technology Week 2026 is slated to take place from July 7 to 12.
The event is hosted by the municipal People’s Committee in collaboration with central government agencies, together with leading international organizations such as the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group (WBG), the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) Singapore, Sun Group, and VSAP LAB.
The addition of the word "Business" to the event’s official title reflects its expanded scope.
The city hopes that the event will gradually become a prestigious annual forum connecting policymakers, experts, businesses and investors from Vietnam and abroad to exchange ideas, foster cooperation and create new development opportunities.

Deputy Chief of the Office of the Da Nang People's Committee
It will be held in both in-person and online formats. Major activities will take place at the Ariyana International Convention Centre and the Furama International Convention Palace, both located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street in Ngu Hanh Son Ward.
The week is designed to provide a platform for dialogue and knowledge sharing among Party and Government leaders, ministries, departments, local authorities, scientists, financial institutions, businesses and international experts.
Discussions will focus on such key sectors as digital finance, green finance, regulatory sandbox mechanisms, innovation, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The event also presents a great opportunity for Da Nang to promote its potential, attract investment resources, and gradually position itself as an emerging international financial and core technology center in the region.

The Da Nang Business, Finance and Technology Week 2026 will feature a series of flagship events.
Specifically, the Vietnam Financial Forum (VFF) 2026 is scheduled to be held at Ariyana Convention Centre Danang on July 9 and 10.
It is expected to attract more than 350 policymakers, representatives of international financial institutions, leading global consulting firms and pioneering fintech enterprises.
The event is positioned as a large-scale, in-depth dialogue forum, aimed at addressing core strategic challenges in the financial sector.
According to the plan, the Vietnam Financial Forum will be held annually, alternating between Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, with the ambition of developing into one of the region's leading financial forums.
In addition, the Da Nang Semiconductor and High-Tech Conference 2026 will present the latest technological developments.
The hybrid-format conference, to be held at the Furama International Convention Palace, will discuss strategies for developing Da Nang into the semiconductor hub of central Vietnam.
The highlight of the conference will be presentations on emerging technology trends by internationally renowned experts, including Dr. Babak Sabi, former Global Vice President of Amazon.
Besides, pioneering tech companies such as Viettel Group, CMC Corporation, and Mismart will also present solutions related to AI-powered cameras, the Internet of Things (IoT), and the development of a low-altitude UAV economy alliance.
Another key highlight of the event series will be its emphasis on aligning research and education with the evolving needs of the labor market, a fundamental driver of the digital economy.
Accordingly, a seminar on strengthening collaboration among government, universities and businesses will be scheduled for July 10 at the Furama International Convention Palace.
It is expected to provide a practical and effective platform for fostering cooperation in workforce development, scientific research, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Additionally, a high-level policy dialogue, themed “New Growth Model - Innovation - Global City”, set on July 7 and 8, will serve as the centerpiece of the week.
The forum is expected to welcome around 500 delegates, more than 50 distinguished speakers from 12 countries, and feature 16 discussion sessions.
The event will further reinforce Da Nang's growing international reputation by bringing together world-renowned scholars and business leaders.
Included will be Professor Paul Romer, recipient of the 2018 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences; Professor François Bourguignon, former Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of the World Bank; and Dr. Mirjam Staub-Bisang, a senior executive at BlackRock Switzerland.
Alongside the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) and the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF), the Da Nang Business, Finance and Technology Week is expected to gradually evolve into a prestigious annual international forum, helping position Da Nang as an emerging technology and financial destination in the Asia-Pacific region.
