DNO - Over 120 content creators from 20 countries and territories visited Da Nang from August 21-25 as part of Kreatorverse 2026.

This major international destination promotion programme was jointly organised by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Klook, a leading regional online travel platform.
The five-day programme brought together creators specialising in travel, lifestyle, entertainment and food, offering them first-hand experiences across Da Nang and neighbouring destinations.
Through their own perspectives, languages and creative styles, the creators produced digital content designed to introduce Da Nang’s diverse tourism offerings to international audiences.
The programme featured some of central Vietnam’s most distinctive cultural, natural and entertainment attractions. Included were Hoi An Ancient Town, the My Son Sanctuary, Bay Mau Nipa Palm Forest, the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda and Sun World Ba Na Hills.
The itinerary also showcased a range of accommodation experiences, from Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An and Novotel Danang Premier Han River to Mercure Danang French Village Ba Na Hills, highlighting the destination’s diversity of seaside, urban and mountain resort products.

The initiative reflected a broader shift in destination marketing, where authentic experiences and creator-led storytelling are becoming increasingly important in reaching international travelers.
Da Nang is creating opportunities for visitors with established digital communities to experience the destination directly and share their impressions with audiences around the world.
Preparations for bringing Kreatorverse 2026 to Da Nang took more than eight months, covering programme development, destination promotion and coordination with Klook and international creators.
The city also paid particular attention to the first impressions of arriving creators. At the Da Nang International Airport, they were welcomed with traditional musical performances, Vietnamese conical hats and warm hospitality.
Meanwhile, immigration and customs authorities supported the group with arrival procedures. A distinctive feature of the opening programme was the presentation of lanterns crafted in Hoi An.
The lanterns symbolised the historical role of Hoi An as an international trading port where people from different parts of the world met, exchanged goods and cultures, and helped shape the region’s distinctive heritage.

Kreatorverse 2026 is also part of the broader Da Nang Storytellers initiative and its “Your Danang - Your Stories” message.
As of August 2026, the initiative had recorded 219 creator applications, nearly 70% more than in July, from Vietnam and international markets including the United States, Spain, France, Japan, Russia, Italy, Belgium, Australia, the Republic of Korea, Bolivia, Canada and India.
TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube remain the most widely used platforms, alongside Naver, Threads, X and other international channels.
Around 23% of applicants have a presence on three or more platforms, offering further potential to expand Da Nang’s tourism stories across diverse digital communities.
Through a community of more than 120 content creators, Da Nang aims to amplify stories of its culture, cuisine, beaches, leisure, sports and local life, enhancing the city’s appeal and reach among international travellers.
