DNO - During their visit to Laos, a delegation from Da Nang, led by Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang, extended Bunpimay greetings to the Vietnamese Association in Champasak Province and the local Vietnamese Language Centre.

During the meeting with the Vietnamese Association in Champasak, city leaders extended Bunpimay greetings and praised the Vietnamese community for stabilising their lives, preserving cultural identity, and contributing to Vietnam-Laos relations.

Speaking at the meeting, Le Ngoc Quang affirmed that Da Nang will continue supporting overseas Vietnamese communities, including those in Champasak, encouraging solidarity, law compliance, and contributions to local development while strengthening cooperation between the two sides.
He also praised teachers at the Vietnamese Language Centre for preserving the Vietnamese language and cultural identity. He said the city will support the centre with learning materials, training programmes, and human resources to improve teaching quality for Vietnamese expatriate children and Lao students.

The visit and Bunpimay greetings strengthened ties between overseas Vietnamese communities and their homeland, while promoting people-to-people exchanges and deepening the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, as well as cooperation between Da Nang and Champasak.

During the visit, the delegation also extended Bunpimay greetings and presented gifts to staff members working at the representative office of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade in southern Laos, located in Pakse, Champasak Province.
