DNO - Members of the Beach Tourism Order Management Team under the Authority of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Beaches, on Wednesday, helped a domestic tourist retrieve his lost item at sea.
As reported, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, a tourist from Hai Phong, dropped his Insta 360go 3s camera into the sea while swimming.
The family of Mr. Dung searched for a long time but found no results. Suddenly recalling the recent viral story on social media about the staff of the Beach Tourism Order Management Team helping an Australian tourist recover his lost diamond ring, Mr. Dung immediately asked a nearby rescuer for assistance.
Upon receiving the information, Mr. Phan Cong Lam, Deputy Head of the Team immediately directed the on-duty staff to go to the location where the tourist dropped the item.
Based on many years of experience, the staff expanded the search radius to more than 5m from the reported location.
Thanks to their enthusiasm and dedication, the staff successfully found and returned the camera to the tourist.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung emotionally said “Although the camera is not too valuable, it contains all photos of my family's recent trip and many other important data. This is surely the most memorable moment of our vacation. To me, Da Nang and local people are wonderful”.
