The artistes rehearsed two signature musical pieces called “Arirang” from South Korea and “Ly Keo Chai” (traditional Southern Vietnamese fishermen's folk song). Both embody the distinctive cultural identities of their respective countries.

The art program is scheduled for the evenings of August 7 and 8 as part of the 2026 Da Nang Viet Nam - South Korea Festival in Da Nang.

It will feature a total of 16 performances showcasing a blend of Vietnamese and South Korean traditional arts.

Included will be the stage performance “Drum Festival, Flag Dance and Trinh Tuong Ritual - My Village Festival”, the Apsara Dance, the instrumental ensemble “Trong Com - Ly Ngua O”, the Sona solo “Taming the War Horse”, the dance “Soul of the Sea”, the Bai Choi folk singing performance, Hanuga, a Gayageum solo, the Ryu Hwa-seonmu Fan Dance, and a K-pop medley featuring “Golden” and “Soda Pop”.

The highlight of the program will be a joint instrumental performance by the Da Nang Traditional Arts Theatre and the Yeongam Art Troupe.

The combination of Vietnamese traditional instruments, including the 'dan bau' (monochord), 'dan tranh' (16-string zither) and bamboo flute, with South Korean instruments such as the Gayageum and Taepyeongso is expected to deliver a captivating cross-cultural performance for audiences.
