Da Nang and RoK’s Jeoksang primary schools launch exchange programme

Da Nang and Jeoksang primary schools’ teachers and students, in a warm and open atmosphere, engaged in exchange activities. They shared unique characteristics of their own educational environments. Greetings, smiles, and the excitement they gave each other when meeting serve as a bridge to narrow their linguistic, cultural, and geographical differences.

For students at Tieu La Primary School, the programme was an opportunity to meet international friends and gain practical experience beyond the classroom. They can learn about their Korean peers' school environment, daily life, and culture while introducing the image of Vietnam, its land, and people to their new friends.

One of the most memorable activities of the programme was the gift exchanges that embodied the distinctive cultural characteristics of the two countries, Vietnam and RoK.

Tieu La Primary School’s students offered Jeoksang Primary School’s teachers and students gifts featuring the image of their Vietnamese homeland, Da Nang City, and traditional cultural values. These gifts are simple yet heartfelt. They are filled with affection, respect, and friendly greetings from the Tieu La students to their Korean friends.

In reply, the Jeoksang school gave Tieu La school students gifts that embodied the essence of Korean culture. The programme, in fact, went beyond a simple exchange; it offered the two schools' students vivid experiences related to friendship, cultural diversity, and the spirit of global integration.
