5 outdoor film screening venues in Da Nang during DANAFF IV

The outdoor screening venues include the East Sea Park in An Hai Ward, the semicircular area of ​​Bach Dang Walking Street in Hoa Cuong Ward, the Hoa Khanh Ward Square, the Hoai River Square in Hoi An Ward, and the Da Nang Center for Culture and Cinema (Facility No. 4) in Ban Thach Ward.

These locations have been selected for their spacious settings, guaranteed security, convenient transportation access, and proximity to residential areas and major tourist attractions.

Hosting film screenings at these locations is expected to make films more accessible to audiences as well as enhance the city’s nighttime cultural and entertainment experience for both residents and tourists.

The initiative will also serve as a communication highlight, helping promote the local image and destination brand.

The screening venues will utilize a mobile, specialized outdoor system, including LED screens that ensure high-definition image quality while allowing for quick installation and dismantling without affecting the existing site conditions.

In addition, high-quality sound systems with adjustable controls will be deployed to provide the best viewing experience while minimizing noise pollution.

Seating areas will be designed to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, featuring beanbags, floor mats, and plastic materials instead of fixed hard chairs.

Alongside the outdoor screenings, Da Nang plans to combine folk art performances and film-related exhibitions to enrich the experience for visitors and the local community.

Based on these activities, the Da Nang Center for Culture and Film will research and develop a plan for regular film screenings combined with traditional music performances and dedicated check-in spaces.

The 4^th edition of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2026 will take place from June 28 to July 4. Organizers are expected to provide between two and five films for outdoor screenings, with screenings scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm each evening.
