DNO - Da Nang tourist attractions are rolling out new cultural activities and immersive experiences to accommodate the rising number of visitors.

Diversifying tourism experiences
As reported by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, destinations and accommodation facilities are offering promotional programmes, culinary events, music performances and entertainment activities to meet growing demand during the holiday and summer travel period.
At the Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park in Hoa Vang Commune, a series of large-scale performances and family-oriented attractions are being introduced throughout the summer.
The “Animal Actors Show” featuring animal circus performances is running from April 25 to September 2 to diversify summer tourism products and create new highlights for visitors.

The “Dinosaur Kingdom” programme will take place from June 5 to August 30, 2026, providing an educational and entertaining playground for children through large-scale dinosaur models and interactive experiences exploring natural history.
In a similar move, the Leaf Village & Farm in Hai Van Ward is launching more than 20 tourism activities from April 25 to May 3.
Visitors can enjoy flower garden check-in spaces, the “I Love Vietnam” hot-air balloon display, Co Tu ethnic cultural nights, the mini show “Hai Van - Awakening the Great Forest”, SUP racing competitions, traditional cuisine experiences and acoustic music performances along the Cu De River.

Attractive promotions for holiday travellers
Average room occupancy across Da Nang is estimated at 60 - 65% during the holiday period, while four- and five-star hotels and equivalent accommodation facilities are expected to reach 75-80% occupancy.
Pham Thi Dung, the Executive Director of Fivitel Da Nang Hotel under the FVG Group, said visitor behavior has shifted notably this year, with tourists staying longer and seeking more private, experience-driven holidays rather than conventional sightseeing trips.
“As a result, all-inclusive combo packages integrating accommodation, dining and transportation services are becoming increasingly popular among travelers,” Dung said.
By the end of April, occupancy across FVG’s hotel system had reached an average of 85-95%. Hotels operated by the group in central Da Nang recorded full occupancy on several days during the holiday period.
In particular, room occupancy during peak dates from April 29 to May 2 were almost fully booked well in advance.

To attract visitors and extend stays, FVG introduced a range of flexible promotional policies during the holiday season. Guests booking combo packages combining accommodation, dining and airport transfer services received a 10% discount on all services.
The group also launched vouchers offering discounts of up to 20% for tour groups and visitors using combined services across multiple FVG properties, encouraging tourists to explore interconnected destinations within the group’s tourism ecosystem.
At the same time, FVG diversified and carefully managed its culinary offerings, incorporating local cuisine into menus to help promote Da Nang’s cultural identity and destination image.
The group has also expanded food and beverage services, cultural programmes and artistic performances at its resorts while strengthening connections among destinations within its service network to provide tourists with a seamless, high-quality travel experience.
