As reported by the Nhan Dan Newspaper on Nov. 9, during the event, Mr Ho Quang Tri, the private enterprise behind Ong Cua ST25, highlighted the over 30-year journey of researching and developing high-quality fragrant ST rice varieties.

He emphasized the award’s positive impact, from increasing farmers’ income and building the brand ‘Vietnam High-Quality Rice’ to opening doors to demanding international markets such as the United States, Japan, Europe and Australia.

ST25 rice has consistently ranked among the world’s finest for several years, solidifying Vietnam’s leading position on the global rice map.

In 2019, at the 11th World Rice Trade Conference in Manila (Philippines) ST25 surpassed competitors from Thailand and Cambodia to win the top prize for the first time.

In 2023, at the TRT Global Rice Trade Conference in Cebu (the Philippines), ST25 again received this prestigious recognition, demonstrating its consistent quality and international prestige.

The continued success of Ong Cua ST25 rice is a source of national pride and underscores Vietnam’s ability to compete on the global stage.

Beyond prestige, the recognition also creates economic opportunities for farmers, strengthens export potential, and enhances the global reputation of Vietnamese rice as a symbol of quality and excellence.
