The tickets cover journeys during the Tet travel period from January 23 to February 25, 2027, corresponding to the 16th day of the 12th lunar month in the Year of the Horse through the 20th day of the first lunar month in the Year of the Goat.

Tickets are available through railway ticket offices and official sales channels nationwide.

Passengers can book up to 10 tickets for the outbound journey and another 10 for the return journey.

Several fare incentives are available. University, college and vocational students will receive discounts of 10-20% during the Tet travel period.

Groups of 11 or more passengers can receive discounts ranging from 2-12%, depending on group size, booking time and route.

Passengers buying round-trip tickets will receive a 5% discount on the return leg, while those booking at least 10 days in advance for journeys longer than 900 kilometers can receive discounts of 5-20%.

Additional discounts of 3-5% will apply to selected North-South trains operating on specific dates before and after the Tet holiday.
