The competition is open to all Vietnamese citizens as well as foreigners currently living, studying, and working in Vietnam.

Hosted on the official website www.bansac.vn, the contest seeks to create a platform for creative expression and deeper engagement with Vietnamese traditions, arts and heritage.

“Identity” features two main categories. The Vodcast ‘Cultural Dialogue’ invites participants to produce short video podcasts sharing personal stories, experiences, and perspectives that reflect the richness of Vietnam’s cultural identity.

Meanwhile, the Quiz ‘Understanding Identity’ focuses on knowledge of the nation’s history, culture, arts, tourism, and people.

Entries will be accepted until August 25, 2025. Online voting for vodcasts and the knowledge quiz will take place between August 28 and September 6, with results announced on September 8, 2025.

The contest carries a total prize value of VND 100 million (approximately US$ 4,000).

By encouraging creative storytelling and knowledge sharing, the contest aims not only to deepen appreciation of Vietnamese cultural heritage among participants but also to amplify its visibility internationally, reinforcing Vietnam’s image as a nation of rich traditions and diverse identities.
