Vietnam - Korea cultural exchange at Dong A University

(QNO) - On April 19, Dong A University, in collaboration with the Korean Language Center in Ho Chi Minh City, the Korean Association in Central Vietnam, the Da Nang Youth Union, and the Da Nang Student Association, organized the 3rd Vietnam - Korea cultural exchange program 2025.

With a variety of exciting activities, the program created a vibrant atmosphere that attracted a large number of students and high schoolers.

Participants had the chance to try on traditional Korean hanbok, join folk games like tug of war, decorate Korean drums, play Squid Game-inspired games, enjoy creative coloring, compete in a K-Pop dance contest, and explore Vietnamese and Korean cuisine with traditional dishes such as kimbap, tteokbokki, and Korean-style fruit tea.

Additionally, students and high schoolers experienced making kimchi alongside members of the Korean Association in Central Vietnam and engaged in the talk “Journey to success from Korean - Inspiring stories of former alumni”.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Song Ji Yong, Consul of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang, affirmed that the Vietnam - Korea cultural exchange program at Dong A University is a prime example of the vibrant cultural interaction between the peoples of the two countries.

Ms. Song Ji Yong also expressed her belief that the university will continue to nurture more exceptional talents in the future, contributing to overall development and strengthening the friendship and solidarity between the Korean and Vietnamese nations.

On this occasion, the Korean Association in Central Vietnam also awarded several scholarships to outstanding students, with a total value of 35 million VND.
