DNO - The Vietnam Coffee Challenge 2026 was officially launched at Da Nang’s APEC Sculpture Park on Friday.
Attending the opening ceremony were Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Ho Quang Buu, along with a large number of coffee enthusiasts, experts, artisans, and businesses operating in the coffee, trade, and food and beverage (F&B) sectors.
A highlight of the event is its experiential coffee zone which features creative beverages inspired by local specialties, including Ngoc Linh ginseng coffee, Nam O fish sauce coffee, Nam Tra My cinnamon coffee, and Da Nang avocado coffee.
Visitors to the event also have the opportunity to directly experience every stage of specialty coffee preparation, from roasting and grinding to cupping sessions, as well as workshops on brewing Vietnamese coffee with a traditional phin filte.
Throughout the three-day event, guests can enjoy complimentary tastings of a wide range of F&B products, specialty coffees, teas, pastries, and innovative beverages.
The program also features the Grand Coffee Challenge competition 2026 with the participation of professional baristas from Vietnam and abroad, exciting street music shows, acoustic and saxophone performances, DJ sets, minigames, and a variety of community activities.
According to authorities in the Hai Chau Ward, the event aims to honor and promote the value of Vietnamese specialty coffee. Additionally, it creates a space to connect the coffee industry with tourism and F&B sectors.
Through hands-on experiences and cultural activities, the program seeks to enhance the value of Vietnamese coffee from bean to cup, as well as promote Da Nang as a tourism destination and showcase Vietnam's rich coffee culture.
The event is open daily from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm from July 24 to 26.
