(QNO) – After two successful editions in 2023 and 2024, this year’s Da Nang Asian Film Festival promises to be a cultural bridge connecting Vietnam with other Asian countries and the world.

The 2025 Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III) continues to serve as both an artistic platform and a cultural bridge connecting Vietnam with Asia and the world, celebrating humanistic, innovative, and diverse cinema.
This year’s expanded program features new highlights, including the "Panorama of Asian Cinema" - showcasing acclaimed Asian films from recent international festivals and premieres debuting at DANAFF. The new “Asian Film Critics Award” will also be introduced.
A look back at the 1st Da Nang Asian Film Festival in 2023
DANAFF III, themed "Bridging Asia" will be held in Da Nang from June 29 to July 5, 2025. This year features over 100 selected films and around 200 screenings - a significant increase from previous editions.
Highlights include the “Asian Cinema Panorama,” the new “Asian Film Critics Award,” special showcases like the “Half a Century of Vietnamese War Films” and “Milestones of Korean Cinema.” South Korea is the spotlight country of 2025.
The festival also features artist meetups and talks, continuing to position Da Nang as a dynamic cultural and cinematic hub.

DANAFF 2025 aims to support emerging filmmakers and build a sustainable Asian cinema community.
The festival is a part of Da Nang’s vision to become a creative, event-driven city. The event also promotes Da Nang as a vibrant, dynamic hub for cultural and cinematic exchange on the global stage.
