South Korean Food Festival in Hoi An 2025 on Sept. 6 - 7

The event promises to offer both local residents and visitors a taste of Korea’s signature dishes while creating a vibrant space for cultural exchange.

Organized by SINASEAN Vietnam on behalf of the South Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), in collaboration with the Centre for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation of Hoi An and the local People’s Committee, the festival is designed to boost tourism while showcasing the richness of Korean cuisine.

Visitors will be able to sample a wide range of beloved South Korean dishes including kimbap, tteokbokki, kimchi, as well as snacks, beverages, and other signature products from South Korea.

The culinary space will be open to the public free of charge, featuring tasting opportunities, interactive sessions with chefs, and the introduction of new food products.

The festival will also feature artistic and entertainment programmes that highlight the connection between Vietnam and South Korea.

Guests can enjoy traditional performances from Hoi An, alongside South Korean guitar and violin showcases. Interactive check-in areas, shopping booths, and souvenir giveaways will add to the festive atmosphere.

Hoi An has long been recognized for its cultural diversity and openness to international influences, particularly in gastronomy.

With the increasing number of South Korean tourists, the festival not only enhances culinary experiences but also strengthens cultural ties and bilateral friendship.
