(QNO) - The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in start-ups is expanding, especially in provincial localities, helping optimise processes, save costs, and improve efficiency.
In late 2023, Tran Thi My Hao from Tam Anh Bac (Nui Thanh, Quang Nam) launched her eco-friendly cleaning product brand, ASABO, after noticing a market gap for safe, affordable products.
Using AI tools like ChatGPT for product ideas, Canva for design, and Edites for promotional videos, she cut costs and expanded her product reach across the country in just a few months. Her success came from leveraging AI for nearly every aspect of her start-up.
Similarly, Truong Vinh Bao, director of KHP Hoa Phong Co. in Tam Ky (Quang Nam), used AI to navigate a market downturn and reach new customers in Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Ngai.
At a recent startup forum, Pham Tran Hong Diem, CEO of theCÂY Project, highlighted AI as a long-term strategic tool for local businesses, helping with tasks like product design, market prediction, and operations.
She shared how AI aided Hoi An artisans in creating new designs while preserving traditions.
However, she noted that small businesses must overcome technical and psychological barriers, such as software costs and a lack of digital mindset.
Diem recommended using free tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, and Google Analytics to help businesses manage data and make informed decisions. She concluded that AI, when used correctly, can support and enhance local traditions.
