(QNO) - According to Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, Quang Nam faced a lot of difficulties and challenges due to the Covid-19 epidemic, natural disasters and climate change.
However, the economic growth rate of Quang Nam province in 2021 was nearly 5,1%, which is better than other localities in Central Vietnam in particular and the whole country in general.
Nine key tasks and solutions for Quang Nam’s sustainable development in the coming time include safe, flexible and effective epidemic prevention and control; tourism recovery, promotion of construction and industrial production, transformation of the model of agricultural development; completion of the Quang Nam planning by 2050 and development of local eastern region by 2030; effective ground clearance for investment projects, key infrastructure investment, potential exploration; administrative reform and digital transformation, PCI (Provincial Competitiveness Index) improvement; tight management of forests and minerals, protection of eco-environment and bio-diversity; building flood–proof houses and poverty reduction; completion of the state budget; safe security and national defense, strengthening diplomatic activities.
