At the meeting, RDIF Vice President Stanislav Pozhanov noted that Vietnam, and Da Nang in particular, possess significant development potential and a favorable investment environment.

The RDIF hoped for its continued research and engagement with partners to identify suitable investment opportunities, thereby contributing to Da Nang’s socio-economic growth.

The Russian delegation expressed its interest in several sectors, including transport infrastructure, seaports, warehouses, trade, tourism, information technology, energy, high-tech, and healthcare.

Mr. Stanislav Pozhanov said he would continue discussions with relevant businesses and partners to organize specific working sessions to learn about investment opportunities in Da Nang.

For his part, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Ho Ky Minh informed his guests of the city’s potential, advantages, and development orientation.

Also, Mr. Ho Ky Minh announced Da Nang welcomed nearly 350,000 Russian visitors in the first nine months of 2026, accounting for approximately 4.5% of the total number of international arrivals to the city.

This presents an opportunity for both sides to strengthen cooperation in tourism development while encouraging investment funds and businesses to explore projects regarding resort real estate and accommodation facilities tailored to the needs of Russian tourists. Da Nang aims to promote the establishment of direct international flight routes connecting the city and Russia.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Ho Ky Minh expressed his desire that, through dialogue and site visits, both sides will be able to identify priority areas and gradually turn the potential cooperation into concrete and practical projects. This contributes to attracting investment resources and fostering Da Nang’s socio-economic growth.
