In the fourth quarter of 2026, Da Nang is expected to handle around 12,200 flights, carrying nearly 2.1 million passengers, an increase of 3.94% and 11.3% in the number of flights and visitor arrivals respectively compared to the same period in 2025.

The city’s international aviation network is set to expand further, with several routes scheduled to resume or commence operations.

In particular, Vietnam Airlines is expected to operate the Singapore - Da Nang route from November 17, 2026, while Thai Airways is slated to launch the Bangkok - Da Nang air route on December 1.

Meanwhile, Vietjet Air plans to introduce routes connecting Osaka, Japan, and Jakarta, Indonesia, with Da Nang from December 20.

Furthermore, charter flights from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong and Taiwan (China) will further strengthen international connectivity.

All these efforts enable Da Nang to reach more source markets, diversify its visitor base, and stimulate tourism during the year-end peak season.

Apart from the expansion of aviation connectivity, various airfare promotions are giving residents and visitors more options when planning their trips.

According to the airline’s announcement, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is offering a 30% discount on fares for the Da Nang - Phu Quoc route. Bookings can be made from October 15 to November 1, while travel is available through November 10, 2026.

The promotion offers travelers departing from Da Nang an additional option for combining a visit to the city with a holiday on Phu Quoc Island.

Vietjet previously announced an Eco fare promotion with prices starting at VND 0, excluding taxes and fees.

The booking period ran from October 16 to 20, with the proposed travel period extending from October 20 , 2026 to September 30, 2027, subject to the conditions applicable to each route.

As the booking period has ended, travelers are advised to check the airline's official channels for new offers and promotions that remain available.

Alongside the aviation sector, tourism businesses are developing a wide range of bundled products in the fourth quarter of 2026. These packages combine airfares, accommodation, dining, attraction tickets, and entertainment experiences to stimulate travel demand.

Bundling services into a single package gives visitors more options to suit their needs and budgets. It also enables businesses to showcase a range of experiences, enhancing the appeal of trips to Da Nang and neighboring destinations.

In addition to improved air connectivity and service promotions, a series of cultural, heritage, artistic, and festival activities scheduled from late October 2026 to early January 2027 is expected to further enrich the city's year-end tourism products.
