Kazik made significant contributions to the preservation of historical monuments and archaeological sites in Vietnam. His efforts helped Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary gain recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The Polish architect was also the first to recognize the unique value of Hoi An Ancient Town. On December 4, 1999, Hoi An Ancient Town was officially recognized as a World Heritage Site.

The substantial contributions of the late architect to the preservation and promotion of Vietnam’s cultural heritage have become a symbol of friendship and the close ties between Vietnam and Poland.
