Da Nang to host Vietnam Sustainable Construction Forum 2026
DNO - The Vietnam Sustainable Construction Forum (VSCF) 2026, themed “Local Strategic Planning: Development, Conservation, Adaptability, and Connectivity”, will take place from October 23 to 24 at the Da Nang Administrative Center.
The VSCF is expected to bring together approximately 200 domestic and international delegates.
The forum will be hosted by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, and the Da Nang Party Committee, in collaboration with the Academy of Politics Region III, the Da Nang People’s Committee, and the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global).
The forum will provide a space for professional exchange, experience sharing, and policy discussion regarding local strategic planning associated with sustainable development, heritage conservation, innovation, adaptability, and comprehensive connectivity.
It thereby aims to generate insights and solutions that help reshape planning mindsets, enhance governance capacity, and promote a sustainable, innovative, and resilient Vietnam.
The VSCF will include two main parts: a thematic discussion on October 23, and a high-level policy exchange on October 24. All will concentrate on sharing experiences, proposing solutions, and shaping policy to upgrade the quality of the strategic planning.
This will balance socio-economic development with the preservation of heritage values, fostering adaptability while strengthening inter-local connectivity in Vietnam.
